Hi, I'm Okba. Senior Frontend Developer

I build fast, accessible and maintainable web interfaces, and help teams keep them consistent as products grow. Angular and design systems are my core strengths, built over 15 years in web development, 7 of them in banking and fintech.

How I can help

Build and modernise web apps

Robust frontends for complex products, from new features to careful upgrades of older code. Mainly Angular (Signals, RxJS), with experience in Vue.js and React.

Make your interface consistent

Turn your designs into a shared component library that teams actually adopt: clear component APIs, design tokens, accessibility and documentation.

Raise the quality bar

Accessibility from the first commit, automated tests with Vitest, Playwright and Jasmine, CI/CD with SonarQube quality gates, and code reviews that help the whole team grow.

Experience

  1. Senior Frontend Developer · Waterleau

    – Present · Porto

Built the company's Angular design system: a shared component library that now powers a major platform rebuild.

    Challenge
The design system existed in Figma, but in code every project used its own component library and styles, so screens looked different and were hard to maintain.
    Approach
A component library that applies the company's design guidelines on top of NG-ZORRO, the library teams already knew, with custom components and an icon set where needed. Plus CI/CD with SonarQube quality gates on AWS.
    Result
The library is the foundation of the platform rebuild, and other platforms in the company are adopting it: the same look and behaviour on every screen, from one shared source.

  2. Senior Frontend Developer · Natixis (Groupe BPCE)

    – · Porto

Devoteam consultant from 2022, hired directly by Natixis in June 2024.

Core developer on Neo3 (opens in a new tab), the multi-brand design system of Groupe BPCE, one of France's largest banking groups.

    • 60+ components
    • About 100,000 employees
    • 35 million clients
    Challenge
Banque Populaire, Caisse d'Epargne, Natixis and the group's other brands each need their own identity, but all need consistent, accessible interfaces across many teams and technologies.
    Approach
Working with developers, UX designers and accessibility experts, I owned several components end to end, from design discussions and API to implementation, accessibility and documentation, and ran code reviews and onboarding.
    Result
One library of 60+ components, themed per brand through design tokens. Accessibility is built in, so every app that uses it gets it without extra work.
